Whatever little I have learnt Iqbal, I have it from my respected father, Raz bandipur.Not only does he remember each verse of Iqbal even at the age of ninety seven,but also knows him in the best traditions of philosophical realm.With his initiations, I have found raising Iqbal the basic questions , which any great philosopher has raised whether he belonged to any community or caste.Iqbal solves it in Faith, perhaps Gita also does the same thing, the absolute surrender with out personal attachment to consequences of action.Since there is so much unsolved ,human being is helpless but to surrender.Iqbal knows it well ,logically.One of the greatest philosophers who tried to escape his skepticism in the realm of religion.

    american literature has a gamut of understanding relaing to reconstruction theory and mystical elements. calcutta university department of english advocates the highest realm of literature in criticism in american criticism. professor sanjukta das gupta of calcutta university has proved that americanism is universalistic in flow and value i am proud to be the part and parcel of calcutta university in this arena.ifeel the study of cross cultural study will solidify our views.
