CHANDIGARH: Lahore Badshahs secured third consecutive victory in Indian Cricket League (ICL) after defeating Chandigarh Lions by 38 runs.
In a match played here, Lahore Badshahs captain Inzamamul Haq elected to bat after wining the toss.
Lahore Badshahs scored 187 runs at 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Imran Nazir scored 16; Imran Farhat 94 and Humayun Farhat scored 48 runs.
Andrew Hall and Darrell Tuffy got 3 wickets each.
In reply, Chandigarh Lions managed to score 149 at seven wickets in 20 overs. Danesh Mongia and Andrew Hall put some resistance but failed to achieve the target of 188 runs for their team.
Mongia scored 35 and Andrew Hall scored 32 runs. Azhar Mahmood took 3, Shahdi Nazir 2 whereas Saqlain Mushataq and Muhammad Sami took one wicket each.
