Since its opening in November 2010 Hast-o-Neest Centre for Traditional Art & Culture has conducted its first course sessions in Islamic Architecture, Arabic Classical Calligraphy and Miniature Painting. In February Taimoor Khan Mumtaz, Irfan Ahmed Qureshi and Murad Khan Mumtaz  look forward to conducting the respective second sessions of the same courses including a beginner course on the Persian Language (to be taught by Hafiz Muhammad Adnan). Murad informs us that there are no drawing or fine art degree prerequisites to join the miniature painting group, just as an architectural degree is not necessary to benefit from the Islamic Architecture course! The main criteria to joining is just a keen interest in the subject!
